A very good evening to each and every one! Welcome to LALAINES18th Birthday Celebration. We would like
to thank everyone for gracing this momentous occasion because as they say, you only get to be 18 once.
Of course, I would like to acknowledge the key persons who took a great part in making this event possible.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to introduce to you the family of our lovely debutant.

And now, ladies and gentlemen without further ado, let us now welcome the participants of the grand cotillion
as they parade in all their glory.
Tonight is a celebration of adulthood and a thanksgiving of the life God has given to our lovely celebrant. Let us
put our hands together, as we welcome the main highlight of this celebration, and as she stepped into a higher
level of life, ladies and gentlemen, our debutant LALAINE MARIE BERCERO CINCO.

Such a spectacular grand entrance by our lovely debutante, I would say. And now to give a speech and a toast
in honor of our beautiful debutante, we would like to ask Mr. and Mrs. Cinco on stage.
Some of us have been fortunate enough to see Lalaine grow and blossom into a beautiful lady, but for others,
here is a sneak peak of her 18 years of existence in one very short AVP.
Dim the lights and let us all enjoy this AVP that her ______________ has prepared for her.
For everyone's entertainment, our debutante and her friends have thoroughly prepared a wonderful dance, a
cotillion fit for a princess. So without further ado, let us welcome our debutante and her cotillion court.
Thank you very much for that very lovely dance. We are nearing the most awaited part of the evening, dinner
but before we partake of the sumptuous food that has provided for us, may we now call on
______________________to say grace before meals.
How is everybody doing so far? Is everybody happy? Is everyone also hungry? (Yes!) There you go. Dont
worry folks, we wouldnt be delaying your delicious dinner any further. However, the debutante asks that you
guys oblige her with a picture first.
I will be calling on the table numbers. Once your table is called, please join the debutante on stage for your
photo session with her.

So many people would like to greet our birthday celebrant a happy birthday and some of her friends have made
a very special AVP just for her.

The 18 roses signify the debutantes coming of age. We have now come to the part of our program that the guys
have been waiting for. A chance to hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a short dance... and then maybe...
a kiss... so let us not keep them waiting. Ladies and gentlemen, the 18 roses with our beautiful debutante.
And now ladies and gentlemen, the most important man in Lalaines life will dance with her. May I now
present Mr. Joseph Cinco and our lovely debutante, Lalaine for their Father and Daughter dance.
Where there is great love, there are always wishes. Because birthdays are always new beginnings, new
endeavors with new set of goals, sending birthday messages and wishes is a tradition especially in our country,
where we give high value to family ties and relationship. Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you these
18 Candles/Wishers for our debutant. These are the people close to the heart of our celebrant, and whom she
listens and confides to for inspiring words and friendly advices.
Many ancient cultures believed that smoke carried their prayers to the heavens. So, at the count of three,
members of the 18 Candles, lets say May all our wishes come true and blow your candles together.
1, 2, and 3 Thank you very much!
Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday cakes and candles came about as a
tradition during birthdays. Some believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient Greece. Putting
candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the Greek moon goddess, Artemis. They baked round
cakes to symbolize the moon. Candles were added to represent the reflected moonlight. Todays tradition of
making wishes before blowing out the birthday candles may have started with that belief. Enough of all those
did-you-know trivia because at this part of the program, our lovely and stunning debutante will blow the candles
on her birthday cake and she will now cut the cake and give a portion to her parents as a symbol of her love and
gratefulness to them.
And to complete that customary practice, let us all sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody is familiar
with, the happy birthday song!
Isang malakas na Happy birthday, Lalaine! naman diyan. At the count of three1, 2, 3, HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
LALAINE! Our debutant is not just a pretty face but also a very talented lady, throw your hands up in the air for
Lalaine!
Lets do some ice breaker! Lets call this How well do you know Lalaine? Gaano niyo nga ba kakilala ang
ating lovely debutant? I have with me a list of trivia or questions about tonights fine lady. The mechanics is just
simple. I will read the trivia and if you know the answer, stand up from your seat.

Tonights celebration tells me that the best demonstration of gratitude in response to a wonderful experience like

And if theres one person here tonight who is more than grateful to see all of you that would be our beloved
celebrant, Lalaine. Im giving the floor to our dear debutant to give her message for all of us.

Lalaine's 18th birthday.
