for our guidance and blessing to be led by ___________ of our celebrant. Please be seated.

HOST 2:
Good evening to all of us. Welcome to Casa Villa Resort. Welcome to the party of our charming
debutant who is now turning into a fine lady. This is quite a very important event in her life and she is
very much honored for your presence. Like Wendy in the movie Peter Pan, no more fairy tale stories
every night. She is now a real lady as she stepped onto the much higher level of what we call LIFE.
Ladies and Gentlemen, sit back as we groove, jive and enjoy her party for tonight.,.

HOST 1:
But before we go on, it is my great honor to introduce all her special guests for tonight.

Without them, her life would be empty and unhappy. Let us all give a big round of applause to
honor all the people whom she truly loved. Sabi nga, marami tayong mahahanap na kapuso, pero iisa
lang ang ating kapamilya. So without much further ado let’s start it with:

(Adlib of the hosts)

Like a flower that blooms and exudes its sweet scents to attract bees and butterflies, the
debutant will be surrounded later on by 18 equally able handsome gentlemen.
18 ROSES

18 BALLOONS

18 CANDLES/WISHES

GRAND ENTRANCE OF THE DEBUTANT

HOST 1:
Tonight, is a celebration of adulthood and a thanksgiving of the life God has given to our lovely
celebrant. Let us put our hands together, as we welcome the main highlight of this celebration, and as
she stepped into a higher level of life, ladies and gentlemen, our debutant, ZYRELLE MAE
CARMELETOS!

HOST 2:
Wow, blooming and lovely, indeed! Right? Agree ba kayo sakin? Sino nga ba at anong anak si
Zyrelle Mae ? Evidently, before tonight, Zyrelle has had happy years in a very happy home. The love of
a family will always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life we can have several friends,
classmates, and social circles, but there is only one family who is always willing and ready to welcome
us no matter what. Ladies and gentlemen, to answer the question kung sino nga ba o anong klaseng
anak si Zyrelle Mae, here’s TATAY RHODEL, her father. to welcome all of us to her lovely daughter’s
18th birthday party.

HOST 1:
At this moment, we are nearing the most awaited part of the evening, dinner… but before we
partake of the sumptuous buffet that has provided for us, may we now call on again
_______________ to say grace.

HOST 2:
How is everybody doing so far? Is everybody happy? Is everyone also hungry? (Yes!) There
you go. Don’t worry folks, we wouldn’t be delaying your delicious dinner any further.

HOST 1:
While some of you are still feasting on the delicious buffet and the decadent dessert, we will
now continue with our program.

HOST 2:
Balloons may burst or even fly, this time the balloon that the well-wisher would give will
symbolize bad or undesirable attitudes that we do not want the debutante to carry on her new world
of existence but let them out by bursting and even fly and go away from her.

18 BALLOONS

HOST 1:
The 18 roses signify the debutante’s coming of age. We have now come to the part of our
program that the guys have been waiting for. A chance to hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a
short dance. so let us not keep them waiting. Ladies and gentlemen, the 18 roses with our beautiful
debutante. Starting off with:
18 ROSES

HOST 2:
The last dance is of course reserved to the forever most handsome and most loving guy in her
life. To dance with our debutant, Zyrelle 18 th ROSES, ladies and gentlemen, as she calls PAPA
RHODEL !
HOST 1:
(In the middle of the father and daughter dance)
TRIVIA:
The father and daughter dance are probably one of the most loved traditions in any Filipino
debut celebration. This signifies the daughter’s first step to womanhood and the father’s acceptance
of this period in his daughter’s life.

HOST 2:
Ayos pa ba ang lahat? (adlib)
Seems like our gorgeous debutant really enjoyed tonight. At sabi nga ni mareng Willa Cather?
“Where there is great love, there are always wishes.” Because birthdays are always new beginnings,
new endeavors with new sets of goals, sending birthday messages and wishes is a tradition especially
in our country, where we give high value to family ties and relationships. Tonight, ladies and
gentlemen, I present to you these 18 wishers with their candles for our debutant. These are the
people close to the heart of our celebrant, and whom she listens and confides to for inspiring words
and friendly advice. Starting off with the _________ dearest to ________’s heart, representing the
fother candle that will be a source of light for all the well-wishers for our dear _____________ !

HOST 1:
Many ancient cultures believed that smoke carried their prayers to the heavens. So, at the
count of three, ___________ and members of the 18 Wishes, let’s say “May all our wishes come true”
and blow out candles together. 1, 2, and 3…
Everybody blows the candle

HOST 2:
Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday cakes and candles
came about as a tradition during birthdays. Some believe that the tradition of birthday candles began
in Ancient Greece. Putting candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the Greek moon
goddess, Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the moon. Candles were added to represent
the reflected moonlight. Today’s tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday candles
may have started with that belief. Enough of all those did-you-know trivia because at this part of the
program, our lovely and stunning ZYRELL MAE will blow the candles on her birthday cake. And to
complete that customary practice, let us all sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody is familiar
with, the happy birthday song!

HOST 2:
Tonight’s celebration tells us that the best demonstration of gratitude in response to a
wonderful experience like this one can be contained in an overwhelming thank you. Maraming
salamat po for making us a part of this memorable occasion. And if there’s one person here tonight
who is more than grateful to see all of you, that would be our beloved celebrant, ZYRELLE. I’m giving
the floor to our dear debutante to give her message for all of us.

HOST 1:
The night is young, and so are we, diba partner? Are you ready to party? We have just actually
started. Again, thank you for having me here and my partner to celebrate with all of you. We would
like to thank you all for making it to this wonderful celebration of ZYRELLE's 18th birthday. For those
who are going home, may God bless you. Be safe everyone. This is your host, JOAN TAGUM and
SARAH JOYCE ABREA, signing off. Thank you and have a blessed night."
