I have changed He said. He sent some other blasts of fire trying to knock
her off. But was all he wanted? It didnt matter what he actually wanted.
He was about to hurt a very important person in his life.
She was unable to block some of his blasts as Azula came from the other
side with new attempts of attacks. Two fire blasts in both of her sides as
Zuko and Azula surrounded her. She had nowhere else to go and she was
out of water. Zuko and Azula were strong enough to blast her out of their
way. She fell on some raised green crystals of the catacombs. Pain spread
everywhere in her body. She tried to stand up but her hands were weak
enough to make her fall again. She looked around her finding out that
Aang and Katara were unable to move as well.
She was weak, pain spread everywhere. But it didnt matter anymore she
had to stand up and keep fighting. She weakly stood up and got again in
fighting stance. She suddenly was surrounded by thousands of Dai Li
Agents all around her. She bended water and got in the octopus form. She
turned her gaze again and saw that Zuko and Azula were busy ready to
confront the Avatar.
Aang looked panicked around him. He knew that he couldnt take them all.
Theres too many he muttered Im sorry Katara he said as he left the
fighting stance and creating a tent with the crystals ready to unlock the
seventh charkra. A huge wave passed through everywhere. The all looked
at Aang as he rose to the air in the Avatar State, they all looked
frightened. But she and Katara looked at him in praise. Iris could see Azula
from behind ready to shoot lightning. Iris ran immediately towards the
direction Azula was about to shoot lightning. She got in height Aang was
with the help of the water and instead of the lightning to hurt Aang, it hurt
her. She started falling down and before she could even reach the ground
Zuko ran as fast as he could and wrapped her in his arms. She wasnt
breathing, she wasnt reacting she didnt move at all.
Zuko might wanted his honor and his fathers love, but he then realized
that he couldnt live without her. She raised her hand and she softly
caressed his cheek until her hand immediately fell down in weakness. It
was late when he finally saw that Aang was falling down. Azula shot him
again and he was literally falling to his death. Katara ran towards him and
wrapped him before coming in touch with the ground. Sokka and Toph
appeared. Toph started fighting with the Dai Li trying to win them some
time. Sokka ran towards Zuko and pushed him away from her. He took her
in his arms as Katara did with Aang. Toph cut the floor and moved it out of
the Crystal Catacombs where Appa with the King have been waiting. They
all moved on Appa and he flew away. It was raining. The sky was black and
the storm was just getting worse. Katara first tried to heal Aang with the
middle of the water of the spirit oasis. When Aangs spirit was brought

back into his body Katara tried to do the same at Iris who was lying
unconscious in Sokkas arms.

outside the tent.
Zuko, all she and your uncle ever wanted for you was to find the right
path and you did. She will forgive you She heard Kataras voice.
Zuko took a deep breath and he hesitatingly walked in the tent. He was
terrified and very worried to see her lying on a bed with a wound at her
stomach. From the bandage it seemed like she was bleeding. He
immediately and worryingly walked hastily towards her and he sat down at
the weight of her bed. She was able to see his eyes glowing from the tears
that were about to come.
Are you okay? Zuko asked sobbing as he could no longer keep the tears
behind.
She immediately wrapped his hand and responded I now am she
answered as she started crying as well. She finally saw him. She missed
him. Everything tried to separate them but their bond was strong enough
to get cut.
Im so sorry Zuko said moving his head affirmatively as the tears
escaped his eyes. Im so sorry I broke your heart. Im sorry for everything,
Iris. Its my fault youre in this bed right now Zuko said.

She said wrapping his hand tighter in hers. I missed you
I missed you too Zuko said. He could see the blood running out of her
wound. Youre badly bleeding
Ill be okay, as long as youre with me. Ill be fine She said trying to
make him feel less worried but it didnt work at all. Katara entered. When
she saw the Iriss wound bleeding she immediately walked towards her
and she started healing it with the water she had at her patch. But she still
couldnt stand the fact that a so much good friend of hers was in such a
horrible position so Katara wasnt able to keep the tears behind as well.
She could feel that something was wrong with her wound. Katara hadnt
dealt with any kind of injure as this so she wasnt able to cure it. She
pulled the water back and she sadly looked at Zuko with an extremely
worried and sad expression at her face.
This isnt good She said and the tears kept running down her cheeks.

Katara there must be something you can do Zuko said.

There is nothing I can do, I have never dealt with these kinds of injuries
before. Katara said as she wept.
