Comments: Alana demonstrated a commitment to teaching through her oral discussions and hor written journal reflections. Upon her arrival, she was actively involved with the daily classroom activities that were required: assisting children to complete their tasks, supervising classroom behavior, monitoring discipline issues and preparing student activities. Also, she was responsible for presenting a mini-lesson for each session. Prior to each session she was assigned a topic relating to the classroom theme. She was then responsible for the organization and acquisition of materials that were required for the mini-lesson. She completed each lesson with poise and demonstrated a leadership role. In the classroom, she was aware of the vast amount of preparation that was required ina Kindergarten classroom and was always ready to be actively involved.
