Questionnaire Statistical Report


Below show the results of the questionnaire that I created for my animation. I got 10 people
in the class to fill them out.
1. The first question asked is the animation less than or equal to 30 seconds without the
credits. 100% of people said that my animation was equal to 30 seconds. This means no
one thought my animation was less than or more than 30 seconds in length. Im happy
with the result of this question as it means everyone was happy with the length and it
meet the criteria.

2. Question 2 was about whether or not the storyline makes sense and was it easy to follow.
From the results, it seems that 100% of people answered yes to whether the storyline
made sense. One person said that it was very clear as to what was happening, another
person said its simplistic and another one said that the animation and characters are
clear. These are good comments as it means younger children will easily understand
whats happening in my animation.

3. For this question I asked if there was anything I could change about my animation. I got a
few mixed responses from this question with people suggesting that I move the
snowman, improve the quality of graphics, and make sure the camera is kept steady
without slight movements. 3/10 people said that my animation didnt need any
improvements and they said it was great. The other 30% of people said nothing so I they
must of liked my animation. Overall I think most people liked the idea in general. If I get a
chance to upgrade my work I might take some of the improvement advice on board.

4. Question 4 is where I asked people to rate my animation on a scale of 1-10?
animation as a whole on a scale of 1-10, 1 being 1 = bad
bad. 10% of the 10 people I asked rated my
animation a 7, the other 90% people rated it
8/9/10, 30% for each. Overall I think this gives my
animation a positive rating and everyone clearly
liked it.

5. When I asked the 10 people whether the voiceovers were clear, 9 of them said that they
were whilst only one person said that they were sort of clear. To solve this problem I
might make my voiceover sounds slightly louder so you can hear them better.

6. Question 6 was where I asked if my animation is targeted correctly to the pre-school age
group. When looking at my results I found 5 out of 10 people thought that it did. The
other 5 did aswell however they also mentioned that:

Yes it does because children can relate
The storyline makes it simple for children
Yes I think it is very suitable
Its easy to follow due to its simplicity

7. This is where I asked whether or not my models were Are the model suitable,
suitable, bad or could be better for the target audience. bad or could be better?
80% of people said that my models were good and
suitable meaning that they were child friendly and tied
in with the story well. The other 20% of people said
that my characters could be better. Generally I think
this is a good feedback question as I get two slightly
different opinions. Good/suitable Could be better Bad

8. The last question I asked my peers on my questionnaire Do the models move well
is if my models move well during the animation. They during the animation?
could choose from three answers, yes, no or
sometimes. 1/10 people said that they only move well
sometimes but I think this is because of the way my
characters legs were built. The other 90% of people
said that my characters move well and work well with
the story itself. Yes Sometimes No

In conclusion I am happy with the results I gathered from my questionnaire as I got a high rating
for my animation and there werent many comments for improvement. I am also happy as
everyone thought that the animation meets the assignment criteria well. I am pleased with my
product and from the results it is clear that my peers think so too.
