Primeminister Trudeau gives nothing away regarding decision on pipelines

Canada- Prime Minister Trudeau (if one doesnt remember, he was dubbed Canadian
Bae last APEC summit in the Philippines) leaves the rest of his country hanging in
suspense as they await the decision on the expansion of pipelines. Environmental
activists have always criticized the Trudeau government for its sympathy for oil
companies with regards to tar sands.
Tar sands are used by oiling companies such as Shell for cheap costs of producing
oil. However cheap it is, its effects on the environment is devastating. Tar sands
require large areas of land fill and because of this heavy deforestation occurs in the
surrounding areas. Major oiling companies require permits for deforestation from
their countrys government through bribing and/or conflicts of interests of the
politicians. Canadian companies are no different when it comes to treating their
natural resource.
The expansion of pipelines also poses a threat not only for land but also for the
atmosphere. The emission of greenhouse gases from the United states alone
contributes to the melting of polar ice caps and now adding to that pollution are the
pipelines to be built in Canada. (Greenhouse gases gets sunlight trapped inside the
Earths atmosphere causing global warming).
It is only a matter of time when nature takes back what it has given us if nobody
stands up against the abusive companies destroying our planet.
