ORGANIZED NI HARMONY WITH GODS OWN BOOK

Jehovah founded the earth in wisdom. He solidly established the heavens in discernment. Proverbs
3:19

- 1, 2(a) What do some people say about the idea that God has an organization?

Some people feel that we dont need to be a member of religious organizations. And that all
we need is just read the Bible and do what is good.

Sometimes, we cannot blame them because there are certain religious groups that call
themselves Christians but some of their members, if not the whole group itself, are involved in
illegal or immoral activities. Some fear that religious groups are established to make money
or be influential to the government.

- 1, 2 (b) What will we discuss in this article?

We will see that Jehovah does things in an orderly way and that he organizes his people.
We will also discuss what we need to do when Jehovahs organization gives us direction.

- 3. What convinces you that Jehovah is the God of order?

Highlight Scripture: Look! These are just the fringes of his ways; Only a faint whisper has been
heard of him! So who can understand his mighty thunder? Job 26:14

Look at the sunrise and sunset they always happen at almost the same time every day.

Look at the seasons their cycle is constant every year.

Look at the water cycle They fall in the form of rain and recycles back to the air in the form of
vapors.

And the list goes on and on

Basically, everywhere you look on planet earth, or beyond, especially if it is untouched by war or
commercialism, all elements, particles are in order.

- 4. Why have scientists not been able to answer many important questions?

Actually, most scientists just refuse to put in the last piece of the puzzle the existence of a
Supreme Being. They deny the existence of a God because it will demolish most of their long-
held theories like the Evolution.

- 5. In what ways do humans rely on the laws of nature?

The law of nature was meant for the benefit of humans. It is part of the organized universe that
Jehovah has created.
- 6. How do we know that Jehovah wants people to worship him in an organized way?

The universe is organized; the elements on the earth are organized; everything is organized.
Logically, the Creator of an organized world would also want and expect an organized ways of
worshipping him.

- 7. What can we learn from the way the Bible was written?

The consistency of the writers despite the fact that most of them are not contemporaries and they
lived centuries apart. And yet, they tell the same story. The highlight of that consistency is the
prophecy of someone coming down to the earth and will destroy wickedness and its leader.

- 8. In what ways were the Israelites organized well?

There were women who were organized to serve at the entrance of the tent meeting (Exodus
38:8)
They have instructions on how to move their camp and the tabernacle in an orderly way.
Later, King David organized the priests and Levites to do specific work at the temple.

- 9. How were the congregations in the first century organized?

There was a governing body, a group of men who gave the congregations direction. At first,
this group was made up of the apostles. Later, other elders were added to it.

- 10. What happened when congregations in the first century followed the instructions of the
governing body?

As they traveled on through the cities, they would deliver to them for observance the decrees
that had been decided on by the apostles and the elders who were in Jerusalem. Then, indeed,
the congregations continued to be made firm in the faith and to increase in number day by day.
Acts 16:4, 5

The result is they continued to be made firm in the faith and to increase in number day by day.

- 11. What should elders and ministerial servants do when they receive direction from Gods
organization?

They need to obey.

Those who are loyal to Jehovah are not rebellious, and they do not complain about the direction
they receive.

When we follow the direction we are given, we help to keep peace and unity in the congregation.

- 12. How are elders and ministerial servants appointed?
