First Semester
ACE elective: Choose one course from each ACE Student Learning Outcome (SLO) 5,6,7,8 and 9 elective courses.
Second Semester
ACE elective: Choose one course from each ACE Student Learning Outcome (SLO) 5,6,7,8 and 9 elective courses.
Third Semester
PHYS 2120: CHEM 1190 & CHEM 1194 are acceptable substitutes.

Technical Electives: Technical electives will be selected by the student in consultation with his/her adviser to formulate a
coherent program in civil engineering. Two technical electives (up to six credits) can be taken from MENG-2000, ELEC-2110,
ISMG-2060 or any approved course in science, mathematics, or other engineering areas approved by the department. The
department has an approved list.
