Teenagers cant consume, carry, or transport alcoholic drinks
You can be arrested of doing the following; texting, harassment, sexual acts
The fine for underage drinking is up to $300; for drinking under the influence, the fine is a
maximum penalty of $2,500
If tried and convicted, you have to pay $300 and spend 2 days(48 hours) in jail
You will lose your license for at least 3 months if caught
People under the age of 21 can be arrested and charged with a D.U.I even if their BAC is
.020%

The age group that had the highest percentage of drivers with the BAC of 0.8% and more was
children or teenagers in 2014
NHTSA stands for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
Texas had the most alcohol related incidents with BAC of .15% or more in 2014
In 2014, there were many deaths, either 14 years old and younger children died in driving crashes
involving alcohol these are the facts:
116 (56%) were occupants of vehicles with drivers who BACS of .08 or higher
61(29)% were people in other vehicles
30(14)% were non occupants
2(1)% were the drivers in the car
