Annual Symposium of Technion France #TechnionConnectedWorld, Towards Connected
Intelligence
Monday the 5th of December, 2016

In less than ten years, the world as we know it today has completely been transformed. It entered
a new cycle of its economic history as decisive as the first industrial revolution. This phenomenon
is rising, everyday, and now, it is the whole world which is connected within a network without limits
where converge social networks, mobile devices and the cloud. It will not be less than 50 billion
devices connected in 2020.
The biggest companies have understood these issues. They also participate in the digitalization of
their activities and their data. The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, which has become a
world benchmark in the areas of science and technology, has enabled the realization of many
successes in all areas of excellence related to smart technologies. A research consortium headed
by Professor Hossam Haick of the Technion is developing a new product called Sniffphone that,
when coupled with a smartphone, will be able to screen the users breath for an early non invasive
detection of life-threatening diseases.
Technion France has fully understood the Connected Issues representing our community in all
social, religious, intellectual, artistic, scientific and technical fields. The next Technion France
