So far, from my brief exposure of high school, I have learned something highly beneficial

that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The simply note I have taken with me is that it is

not what you can learn in the classroom that matters, but rather what you take away from the

classroom that matters. So far, I have realized that we do not attend high school to learn more

material, but instead we are there to see how we can utilize the material we are given. In a less

general explanation, I can easily apply this theory to what I have learned so far in Physics. In

Unit five, we learned about 2-dimensional motion, which is simply a combination of forces

acting vertically and horizontally on an object in motion. We took a quiz on this topic and

located at the top of the quiz were eight equations that could be used to find the outcomes of

different formulas. The thing I noticed, however, was how frequently I found myself applying

the ideas in my head, rather than using the concrete expressions and equations. This is because

my Physics course has caused me to look at a larger picture when it comes to topics such as

motion, forces, and scientific equations, rather than just at the numbers and words presented in

front of me. My ability to combine my knowledge with the facts instead of just working on

problems is the most useful tool I will take away from high school and as I move into future

while I continue to grow.
