I am interested in pursuing a career as a personal financial advisor.

I am interested in this
career because I enjoy working with others, using critical thinking to make logical decisions,
and creating personal plans. I feel like this is a good fit for me because I am organized
enough to gather and keep information for clients, such as bank records, tax returns, and
pension plans. It will also be enjoyable to help others reach their financial goals and
improve their personal portfolios.
Financial advisors help their clients create personal plans to deal with money, insurance,
and marketing strategies. They work full time with demanding hours and tight schedules,
but on average can make a salary between 39,000-110,000+.
I am preparing myself for this career by preparing to take Statistics, Entrepreneurship, and
other math courses in the future.
I have attended the writing and journalism “My Path” Speaker Series to learn more about
challenges faced by individual pursuing their dreams and how to overcome obstacles.
I have not currently attended any field trips preparing for this career.
