OBJECTIVES

1. To review the performance of national networks on newborn health and birth defects
to identify strengths and challenges.

2. To focus on the quality of surveillance data and plan for improvement.

3. Introduce module on microcephaly at birth in the database to prepare for surveillance

Zika Virus infection.

4. To plan expansion/strengthening of national networks for newborn health and birth

defects and the database and map the requirement of technical support.
