INVITATION FOR BIDS

Authorized under Sect 16(1) of the Public Procurement Act 2006

for

GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE

RUNWAY AT SIR GAETAN DUVAL AIRPORT, RODRIGUES
(STRUCTURAL EVALUATION OF THE PAVEMENTS USING HEAVY
WEIGHT DEFLECTOMETER)

Reference Number: RRA/CCO/OAB 18 OF 2016/17

1. The Chief Commissioners Office of Rodrigues Regional Assembly invites bids for
geotechnical investigations for the extension of runway at Sir Gaetan Duval Airport ,
Rodrigues (Structural evaluation of the pavements using heavy deflectometer).

2. Any clarification sought by any bidder in respect of this procurement shall be addressed
to the Departmental Head of Chief Commissioners Office so as to reach him/her at least
fourteen days before the deadline for the submission of bids

3. For further details, please consult the Public Procurement Portal:

4. Bids in sealed envelope clearly marked Geotechnical Investigations for the extension of
runway at Sir Gaetan Duval Airport , Rodrigues (Structural evaluation of the pavements
using heavy deflectometer). and indicating the closing date should be addressed to the
Chairperson Bid Departmental Committee and deposited in the Bid Box or sent by

Central Administration, Port Mathurin, Rodrigues -Tel: 8311515 - Fax: 8312128

 courier service or registered mail so as to reach the Chairperson, Bid Departmental Bid
Committee at the address below by 30 November 2016 up to 01.30 p.m (local time).
Late bids will be rejected.

5. A Pre-bid meeting has been scheduled on 07 November 2016 at 10.30 hours in the
boardroom of Airport of Rodrigues Ltd (ARL) , 1st Floor , Terminal Building , Sir
Gaetan Duval Airport , Rodrigues .

6. The address referred to above, for the submission of bids is the Chairperson,
Departmental Bid Committee, Chief Commissioners Office, Central Administration,
Port Mathurin, Rodrigues.
