REPORT
A memo report begins like a memo. There are various formats and styles you can download or
follow such as below:
Date: Day/Month/Year
A subject line is usually short. It sums up what a memo report, report, letter, etc, is
about.
Your job is to look at the various areas of the Performance Appraisal system and
discuss these areas under sub-headings. Think about the information given to you in
Task 4.
The last heading would be Recommendations. The recommendations are based on the
findings in your Conclusion. Again, there is no discussion. You simply list the
recommendations in dot or numbered points. Usually, you begin:
It is recommended that:
1 List your points and ensure that they read on grammatically from the
statement above it is recommended that ..
2 ....
3 . etc
You should include that PAs will not be taken into consideration for salary reviews and
promotions until the PA system is in order.

Make sure you format your report appropriately, and have a footer with appropriate
filename and page numbering. At the end of any report, you should always sign it.
