Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is a

molecule of self-replicating
material that is present in the
cells of all living organisms as
the main constituent of
chromosomes. It is the carrier of
genetic information that can be
found in every living cell. DNA is
also called the blueprint for
life because it contains the
information to carry out all the
living processes of the cell. DNA
extraction is an important
molecular biology procedure.
Extraction is taking DNA out of
any type of cell for the purpose
of analysis. DNA extraction can
be extracted from any living cells
or conserved tissues and virus
particles. DNA isolation is the
process of purification of DNA by
combination of physical and
chemical procedure and essential
techniques in the study of DNA.
The extraction of DNA from cells
and its purification are of
primary importance for further
investigations.
