WE'VE SAID IT BEFORE,

AND WE'LL SAY IT AGAIN

When James Nader recently became a Principal

Architect at Urban Bobcat Architects, a firm in Fort
Worth, Texas, he deepened an already existing
partnership with Kris Calvert, the firms co-
founder.

Both men serve on the Advisory Board of PSPs

Texas Office, bringing passion and expertise to our
organization.

Nader has over 40 years of experience in multiple

areas of architecture; his professional and civic
accolades are voluminous. Connecting them all is
what he calls his faith-filled approacha special
calling to make architectural services accessible to
6040 Camp Bowie social service agencies and churches. This is what
Blvd. attracted him to PSP over a decade ago. He saw

Nader persuaded our national Board of Directors to
Connect with us: consider a regional office in Fort Worth, Texas.
With the strength of his status as President of the
Texas Society of Architects, he impressed upon
them the potential of their programs in an area rich
with sacred architecture. He marshaled regional
support from civic, business, and religious leaders,
as well as architects and preservationists. When
the planning was complete, he secured a $1.2

As an architect and follower of Jesus, says Nader,

the cause of Partners for Sacred Places unites me
with Christ in a missional way. Being connected
Krin Van Tatenhove with the organization in an advisory capacity gives
Communications me an inside position from which to help advance
Director the cause in a way that casual observance cannot
do.

Upcoming Dates Kris Calvert has 20 years of experience as an

architect. He, too, shares a passion for being

I love being a part of restoration, says Calvert. As

an architect, I am drawn to projects that help
uncover a former beauty and display it in a new
way. Being an Advisory Board Member, I get to
serve with others who share this same
passion. I'm inspired by the stories I hear of not
only restored architecture, but how that restoration
changes people. It's the gospel message, and I really
enjoy being a part of it.

Weve said it before, and well say it again: when a

multi-talented Advisory Board backs up a top-
notch staff, the sky is the limit. This is how we see
the future of the Texas Office of Partners for Sacred
Places.
