To Whom It May Concern:
| am fortunate to have worked as a cooperating teacher for Ashley Prindle during her
student teaching experience at Peter Woodbury School. During her months at Peter
Woodbury, | got to know Ashley as a teacher and as a person, and she has many
qualities that she will carry with her into a school setting.
Ashley is willing to take on any challenge put in front of her, and pushes herself to do
well. During her student teaching experience, Ashley willingly took on lessons and units
that she knew would be difficult for her. She prepared herself ahead of time, asking
appropriate questions, writing specific plans and objectives, and studying the materials
given to her, as well as finding materials of her own, in order to teach these lessons and
units well, Ashley is very self aware as well. She continually reflects on how activities
ae going, and strives to find ways to do better. She takes the feedback she is given
and works to improve.
With students, Ashley is caring. She got to know the students in my class and made
time to learn about their families and their extracurricular activities. The students
enjoyed Ashley's presence in the classroom and it is obvious that she cares about them
as well. While in my classroom, Ashley had plenty of opportunities to work with many
staff members. She volunteered to help out with other staff members and was active in
our PLC meetings. She worked closely with the rest of the fourth grade team and the
special educator.
Ashley is an intelligent and hard working educator. Based on my experiences with
Ashley, | would recommend her for any teaching position.
Sincerely,
