After studying Ancient History and Archaeology at Manchester University, he went on to take his PhD in 1961, He has taken part in archaeological excavations in Poland, tran and Greece, and has published numerous academic articles on the Classical period. He is also the author of several Osprey tit on this subject. ADAM HOOK studied graphic design at art college and began his illustrating career in 1983. He has worked with a variety of educational publishers covering various ‘subjects within the fields of history and natural history.
