Tricom Operations Manual 2017

Article I - Tricom

The Tricom department of C2CJ is responsible for handling communications

between the different departments that operate under the Divison of Directors. Tricom is
also responsible for taking and relaying emergency calls from Liberty County or Los
Angeles to the appropriate department that the call pertains to. Tricom Operators provide
the vital first-link between citizens and the cities resources should an emergency situation
arise. Therefore, Tricom Operators are hereby empowered to issue in-game warnings
(10-60s) to any and all personnel below the Division of Directors so that the vital flow of
information can be maintained.

To avoid any complications, Tricom Operators will be introduced to the training

program that can only be instituted by the Director, Deputy Director, or a Supervisor
when a new recruit to the Tricom department is involved. The training program will
familiarize all new operators with the fundamental principals of the Tricom department
and its functions. Operators will be introduced to the CAD system, radio traffic, and any
other necessary skills and information that they will require to perform tasks while serving
in the Tricom department.

Article II - Geography

An intimate knowledge of the GTA IV or GTA V map is not required for someone to
become a Tricom Operator. Operators instead must know the basic format of postal
codes and where they correspond roughly in respect to the postal map provided by the
Tricom administration during the training program. While intimate knowledge of the map
isnt required, operators should always be aware of where important buildings such as
hospitals and police stations. Information that should be about these locations is their
postal code and street name. If an operator can provide a cross street then it is much
easier for the officer or emergency responder to get to the desired location.

Article III - Police Procedures

While you are training to become and operator, you will be taught the basics of the
Tricom SOP focusing mainly on how a deputy should call into and reply to Sheriff.
