NTNU CCIS Education Advisory Board

NISlab and CCIS want to base and inform its study programs on industry and societal needs. Therefore, an
Education Advisory Board (EAB) are established through its closely connected partner network NTNU CCIS, that
regularly reviews the quality of the program as well as advices on improvements of the study programs.

NTNU CCIS Education Advisory Board has its members from private and public sector and from academia.

Two key areas are emphasized for the NTNU CCIS EAB: 1. Study programs to become more relevant, and 2. Find
potential topics for collaboration between representatives of the CCIS EAB and colleagues at NISlab/CCIS.

In 2016 the NTNU CCIS Education Advisory Board has discussed the following:
Revising existing study programs
Developing new study programs
Security@NTNU agenda for research and education
Implementing privacy in all study programs at NTNU CCIS/NISlab/NTNU IME
