IMPROVEMENT SEMINAR FOR

MANAGERS AT SILVERSTONE
RACE CIRCUIT

execution systems, is hosting a
free one-day educational seminar
on continuous improvement at
Silverstone Grand Prix race
circuit on Tuesday 21st November
2006.

Aimed at senior managers and


directors in operations, continuous improvement, manufacturing, production,
business improvement and IT, the seminar will address key issues such as: how to
transform business and manufacturing processes; how to make reductions in
operating costs and improve profitability; how to slash lead times and inventory
while improving business agility; and how to get new direction for continuous
improvement initiatives.

“Anyone who is looking to embark on, or is already working on a Continuous


Improvement Initiative should be attending this one-day educational event,” said
Paul Hurst, Citect’s UK Managing Director. “It will enable senior managers in
manufacturing companies of all sizes to understand the What, Why and How of
Continuous Improvement, and to find out how Lean, OEE, Six Sigma and Kaizen
practices can help to transform their entire businesses – from the shop floor, back
and front office, and throughout their supply chains.”

The keynote speaker at the Silverstone seminar will be Joe Booth who, from 1994 to
the present day, has worked with more than 100 clients, coaching them through
change, and achieving enormous success with his company, Access2Growth. An
engineer by trade, Joe Booth has vast experience with change management, lean
production, continuous improvement and supply chain management.

Joe Booth’s presentation on how lean manufacturing and six sigma is helping
manufacturing industry to become bigger and more successful, will be complemented
by presentations on “Accelerating Continuous Improvement”; and “Taking the First
Steps”.

Cevn Vibert, MES Business Manager at Silchester Control Systems will provide insight
into how a current Silchester customer is using Citect Technology to support his
Continuous Improvement initiatives, bringing business benefit.
