Camden Town

Camden Town is one of my favorite places in London. Its very eccentric and colorful.
It is hugely associated with the alternative culture. The late Amy Winehouse was a
resident.

HOW TO GET HERE:

Nearest Tube Stations: Camden Town and Chalk Farm
Buses:24, 27, 29, 31, 134, 135, 168, 214, 253, 274, C2

The markets and shops are very lively. There are also plenty of multi-cultural food on
offer.
This is the Camden Lock sign and you wont miss it.

More amazing shops on the main road.

This is the place where I bought most of my souvenirs and the prices were pretty
good compared to other places in London. I bought pocket mirrors with the UK flag
for a pound each among other things. They also had cute and unique bags and other
items sold on the side streets.

We went into this huge store.

Of course we didnt know it was a gay, sex toy shop until we checked out the
merchandise. I think the two men on the ledge dancing should have been clues. It
was a really nice shop though, very festive and organized.

This was another market square.

We went inside the premises to use their restroom. There was this nice graffiti by the
elevator.
Love the intricate designs on the covered gazebos. More food as well..
