Sub :Sixty Second (62nd) Annual Convocation

The Sixty Second (62nd) Annual Convocation of the Institute will be held during 30-31 July 2016
as per schedule given below :

i) July 30, 2016 (Saturday) : Ph.D, B.Tech (Hons), B.Arch (Hons), Dual Degree and
M.Sc. (2 Years & 5 Years)

ii) July 31, 2016 (Sunday) : MS, M.Tech., MCP,MHRM, MBA, MMST, EMBA, LLB and
M.Tech.(3 Years)

All students graduating in the session 2015-2016 are eligible to be awarded the degrees at the
Convocation either in person or in absentia.

For Award of Degree in Person:

1. Register in the Nalanda Classroom Complex between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 pm as per
schedule given below :

a) July 29, 2016 (Friday) : Ph.D, B.Tech (Hons), B.Arch (Hons), Dual Degree
and M.Sc.(2 Years & 5 Years)

b) July 30, 2016 (Saturday) : MS, M.Tech., MCP,MHRM, MBA, MMST, EMBA,
LLB and M.Tech. (3 Years)

2. Collect the Convocation Scarf from the Registration Counter at Nalanda Classroom Complex.

3. Attend a full-scale rehearsal of the Convocation as per schedule given below :

a) July 29, 2016 (Friday) : Ph.D, B.Tech (Hons), B.Arch (Hons), Dual Degree
and M.Sc.(2 Years & 5 Years)

b) July 30, 2016 (Saturday) : MS, M.Tech., MCP,MHRM, MBA, MMST, EMBA,
LLB and M.Tech. (3 Years)

4. Follow the guidelines (to be circulated on 29th July 2016 and 30th July 2016) for
the Convocation on 30th July 2016 and 31st July 2016 respectively.

5. Follow the dress code given below for both the rehearsal and the actual Convocation:

a) For Boys: Light colour plain full-sleeve shirt (no printed design) dark colour plain
trouser (no printed design) and shoes with socks

b) For Girls: Light colour plain sari or light colour plain Salwar Kurta (no printed design)
with scarf and ladies shoes.
