Wandering Aengus

Because a fire was in my head,

And cut and peeled a hazel wand,
And hooked a berry to a thread;
And when white moths were on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream
And caught a little silver trout.

When I had laid it on the floor

I went to blow the fire a-flame,
But something rustled on the floor,
And someone called me by my name:
It had become a glimmering girl
With apple blossom in her hair
Who called me by my name and ran
And faded through the brightening air.

Though I am old with wandering

Through hollow lands and hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done,
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.

The God Aengus is the son of Dagda and Boann.

He is a wiry Immortal who has a lot of energy and a lot of talents.

He has the power to control time, is the patron of love and romance and
is a master polymorpher (shape-shifter).

He is extremely cunning with the power to back him.

He's certainly an Immortal anyone in any lifestyle or situation can gain

immense help from.

Call on Aengus in all matters of love and romance

Aengus, known as "Angus the young", he was considered the Celtic

(Irish)God of youth, love, and beauty.

He was a young handsome god that had four birds flying about his
head -- some say they symbolize kisses -- who inspired love in all who
heard them.

He was the son of Dagda and Boann ('the wife of Elcmar').

. One of the Tuatha De Danaan, name means "young son".

He had a harp that made irresistible music, and his kisses turned into
birds that carried messages of love.

It is said the xxxx at the end of love letters symbolises the birds
3
His brugh, underground fairy palace, was on the banks of the Boyne
River.

Aengus is the son of the Dagda and Boann - the wife of Nechtan.
His foster father was Midir.

He married Caer, daughter of Ethal and Anubal - a prince of the Dananns of

Connact.

Aengus had a foster-son named Diarmuid Ua Duibhne.

He is a member of the Tuatha D Danann, and is said to have connections with the
Celtic God Maponos and his Welsh equivalent, Mabon ap Modron.

INFORMATION & STORIES

The Dagda and Boann had an affair which resulted in Aengus' conception. In
order to hide this from Boann's husband Nechtan, the Dagda made the sun stand
still for nine months. This meant that Aengus was conceived, gestated and born in a
single day.
When Aengus came of age he tricked his father out of his home.
The Dagda lived in the Br na Binne, an area of the Boyne River Valley, and
Aengus arrived after he had already shared out his land among his children.

Aengus asked his father if he could just live there for a day and a night, and the
Dagda agreed, but as the Irish language has no indefinite article "a day and a
night" means the same thing as simply "day and night" - in other words, all the
time.

MAGIC
Aengus is a God of love, beauty, youth and poetic inspiration.

Some stories say that he could breathe life back into the dead.

4
Aengus first saw his wife, Caer, in a dream.

He fell in love with her as soon as he saw her, and on waking became desperately
love sick.

He told Boann of his dream, and she set out to search the whole of Ireland for the
girl.

After a year had passed and Boann had not found the girl from Aengus' dream, the
Dagda was called, and he too searched for a whole year, but did not find her.

Eventually Bov the Red, Dagda's aide, was called and finally, after a year he found
her.

Aengus was taken to a lake where there were 150 maidens paired up and chained in
gold.

He spotted her immediately and learned her name was Caer, and she was daughter
to Ethal and Anubal.

Her gather did not want Aengus as a son-in law however, so he devised cunning
plan.

On Novemer 1st Caer and the other maidens were transformed into swans for one
year, and Aengus was told that if he could correctly identify her then he could
marry her.

A year from that day he went out to the lake and called to her,she came to him and
when he found her he turned into a swan himself.

Aengus and Caer flew off together, singing a beautiful song, and all who heard
them fell asleep for three days and three nights.

After some time they returned to Aenguss castle, changed back to human form and
are said to still be living happily to this day.

Attunement Procedure
This is by no means the only way to do it, it is just the
way I do it
Prepare the room by dimming the lights, playing soft unintrusive music,
light a candle or incense etc
Relax !!!!!!
Call in your helpers, guides, God, Goddesses or Gods, Great Spirit or
whoever you relate to (Especially God Aengus )
and ask them to help you to be a clear pure channel to send the Aengus
attunement to
.and to keep you safe from all negative energies or unwanted entities

State your intention, that is to attune .to the energies

of the God Aengus
Then just relax and let the energies flow.
When you feel that the energies have diminished, then you are done
If you are doing a hands on attunement ground yourself and your
client and give your client a glass of water
Remember to thank your helpers
.Enjoy!
