Summarise using a word or two what each paragraph details


Highlight any sections that cover social, environmental, ethical or economical
(SEEE) points
What is the problem that is being investigated or researched?
Make a note of any biological methods or processes that are involved
Writing a sentence about what each graph/chart is showing. Be clear about
exactly what the graph or chart is showing the more specific you are, the better
When re-writing references from scientific journals, the format should include:
Authors name, Year of publication, Article title, Journal name, Journal volume
number, (pages from the journal) e.g. Mouse M (2014) How to avoid cats in a
domestic environment, Journal of Murine Studies, 33, p13-21
For any information or results quoted, there should be a reference e.g. a website
URL, a journal article, a book chapter, a newspaper article etc.
