Project Title: Dewatering of Crude oil by SAP to Prevent Corrosion in pipelines.

Description: Water is required for the growth of Bacteria inside the pipelines and that water is
present in Crude oil .If we Decrease the water content in Crude oil without Decreasing
its GCV value Corrosion can be decreased .Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) is used
here i.e. Sodium polyacrylate which absorbed 478 times of water of its own weight
and can be recycled and nontoxic.

Description: Using mild steel and increased its angle from 57 degree to 110 degree by using
grinding and etching.
