Answer the following 2 questions to the best of your ability. Include as
much written or visual detail as possible.

9. Pick 2 different drawing mediums and explain how they can be


used to manipulate the overall quality of an image. (A half mark
will be given for each medium name, and one mark for an
accurate explanation of each).

10. Based on your knowledge about the role that drawing plays
in the art world, discuss 3 reasons why drawing is important to
the art practices of historical and present art figures. (3 marks, 1
per reason with corresponding explanation).
