MGSE7.RP.1 Compute unit rates associated with ratios of fractions, including ratios of
lengths, areas and other quantities measured in like or different units. For example, if
a person walks 1/2 mile in each 1/4 hour, compute the unit rate as the complex
fraction (1/2)/(1/4) miles per hour, equivalently 2 miles per hour.

Description of how to implement in the class: The students would first go over
the assignment. This will give the students information that will be covered for the
days lesson. Starting with the verbal gives the students a base from which to build
upon. Once this portion has been covered we will move onto the activity. The activity
will be an interactive session which would allow the students to physically implement
the assignment readings. Moving from the reading to having the ability to physically
implement the material will increase their understanding.
After covering the assignment and the activity, they will move on to the quiz. The
program gives instantaneous feedback which will allow them to understand the areas
they need to improve on. If time is left in class, the students can be grouped with
other students who may need help with other students who understand the material.
The students are then able to go over the quiz again with the assistance provided to
improve upon their understanding.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This will cover up to LoTi level 4
and may even go into level 5 should the lesson allow to take to the next level.
