ARAS

A- we were the first group to be assigned in the OR. we didnt know what to expect
because none of our other batchmates have been there. we were filled with fear
especially because we know that we were going to be dealing with
temperamental professionals. for this rotation, we were also the also group to be
going to the operating room and we were filled with fear because we forgot how
to be in the operating room, especially the instruments and maintaining sterility.
we panicked. but as we went through the duty, we gained all our hidden
knowledge on how to be an operating room nurse.

R I really appreciate the OR than I did the first time and I hope I will like it more.
not one bit of my body wanted to skip a day. it was a fun duty, we learned a lot and I
wish I would stop being scared and I really have a hard time hearing what the
doctors tell me to get in the supply area. I look so dumb in front of them but I know
thats how I learn.

A- I wanna improve my skills in the OR. I want to know more and understand the
procedures done and I also want to be able to identify an organ when they open
a body. I want to learn more!

S- we didnt have a ward class and its okay because I stayed in a 7 hour surgery
and I loved every moment of it.
