Change: A Self-response
Change is coming. This is an excerpt slogan for candidacy that is familiar on the last

election held in the country. Yet, change really is happening as the President of the Republic of

the Philippines fixing the country by his own ideas and principles. We cant take arguments to

him. We follow rules. Anyway right now, change? What is it? Why it happened and how did it

happened? This are the 3 questions that Ill want to emphasize in this discipline. There is really

massive changes happening in this illusion place.

But first before Im going to talk about it, let me just took a look back at some of the past

that really made me think what really change is. So last Saturday afternoon, I watched a fictional

movie on the TV entitled Avatar. It was very fantastic and mind blowing as it was really

cool, awesome and unique. It is actually great based on the animation seen and significantly the

story background as it portrays symbols or signs of change. So yeah, change itself again is

portrayed there, and well yeah most movies story is that protagonist tries to fight back and then

become victorious against the antagonist. So basically there is this some that brought to change.

Even though it is fictitious, it gave me a big help to let this paper relatable to the topic.

Change really is very familiar everywhere, it is actually a big manifestations to our

society nowadays because it is present. But why really change is happening into our lives?

Looking back in the movie Ive watched the Omatikayan people and the Land of Eywa where

very productive on their resources. The Omatikayan people are very (probably I can say)

traditional on their everyday life. The Tree of Life was their shelter and that is where home of the

Avatars. They were tall, blue skinned and had amber eyes. It really was just a simple and happy

lifestyle as they had their own king on that village. One day scientists wanted to study their
living in terms of their environment, their society, their own language and their genes on the

clan. Yet she found out that man can be as an avatar and that lived her through experiments. The

main character, became an avatar and then he went out to the Omatikayan people to learn their

culture, their race and their lifestyle. It was just that he quoted my life here on earth is just an

illusion, but when Im there (Eywa), it feels like its reality. When he already knew their culture,

antagonists became too destructive as they wanted to change the Land of Eywa. So conflict

manifested in that story, knowing that these antagonists are the security defense organization to

protect these protagonists. So it was an all-out war, avatars vs humans. Yeah well, even though it

really was fictional, on my point of view it can perhaps happen in the next generations.

So the lesson I learned to that movie was that change happen because of conflict. Change

happen because of misunderstanding. To me because of pride, society results to conflict and

bring changes. It affects the individuals mindset, principles and behaviour. I am sure that it

really was just a very small problem becoming bigger and bigger turning out to wars, social

events and riots.

The movie I watched reminds me that theres no such wrong in this world. Theres no

such things as like that. Change actually happens because of the people feels like she/he is

lacking on what he/she already possess. It is like they are not satisfied on what they already have.

In other perspective environmentally, change happened because of
