SAP Note 314841 - PM-IS Incorrect updating of MTBR and

MTTR
Note Language: English Version: 3 Validity: Valid Since 30.07.2004

Summary

Symptom
MTTR and MTBR is displayed incorrectly or not at all in the breakdown
analysis for the equipment or functional location. Not all notifications
with breakdown indicator for a technical object are displayed.

Other terms
MnTmToRepair, MnTmToRepair, MCI7, MCJC

Reason and Prerequisites

1. If info structure S070 is not updated, the possible reason may be that
only one notification for the technical object exists and therefore
the calculation for the meantime between repair cannot be determined
if the start-up date of the technical object was not entered.

2. If the valid from date of the technical object has a value larger than
the disturbance date of the notification, the downtimes and
notifications are not taken into account for the analysis if the
start-up date was not maintained.

3. For a complete analysis the start-up date of the technical object must
be entered. Otherwise the first entered notification will not be
included in the evaluation.

4. In the notifications, the disturbance start date, disturbance end

date, breakdown indicator and breakdown duration must be entered so
that an update can be carried out.

Solution
Make sure the above mentioned conditions are met.
