Experimental stress analysis

Product design Safe and efficient
Experimental stress analysis from HBM

Your product reliability is our objective

The foundation for your company success is product quality. During product development and production, the optimal
deployment of resources whilst maintaining consistent quality is one of the greatest challenges.

This is where experimental stress analysis comes into play. This allows you to determine the stresses in the components of your
product. This is, in turn, the essential prerequisite for optimal design of those components. Your advantages?

More safety through quality improvement of

individual components Optimal ratio of
material efficiency/safety
Greater reliability through longer durability

Additional measured quantities for the safety

of your products
It is important to gain a complete overview of acting forces or pressures and
the material stresses. In addition to the occurring strains, the input quantities
therefore also need to be measured in experimental stress analysis. The results
of a strain measurement are shown in correlation, strains compared with the
input force or input pressure. HBM force transducers reliably measure the forces
applied to your test object. Redundant measuring bridges deliver the input
signals for the control of your actuators.

Tensile and compressive force sensors with nominal (rated) forces
