TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPE:
The location is an open plan field to where festivals have taken place on before on this field is a leisure centre, zip
wire park and a playground. However, the location is still big enough to have two football areas, tennis courts,
basketball courts and extra space spare. The field is very close to a woodland and forest which then goes to near a
river.

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?

The location will be suitable for the fashion spread because festivals are always in big fields as they can then hold
a lot of people so using a background which relates to the normal festival atmosphere. This would mean that the
audience would have an idea of what the fashion spread was about just by looking at the clothes and the location.

ACCESS

TRANSPORT LINKS TO LOCATION PHYSICAL ACCESS TO SITE

To get to the site it is in walking distance of me and
the model I will be using for the fashion spread.
However, you can drive to the leisure centre car park
and then have a quicker walk onto the field.
As the field is so big there are many different ways of
access the site. There are; alleys ways, path ways, gates,
through walking into the playground, through the carpark
so there wont be any trouble for me and model making it
onto the site.

GENERAL INFORMATION
People who might be affected by recording in this location:
As this area is a public space the general public may get bothered by the fact they might be getting filmed or
getting photographed. Also, if we cover up any path ways means we will be in the way of them so we will make
sure we are not in anyway.
Precautions/measures taken to minimise the impact of your recording:

As the photoshoots will be done outside there will not be any power source.
As there wont be any power I will make sure that everything which does

require power is already charged up the night before so it is less likely that
the equipment will run out of charge.
As we will be doing the shoot outside we will be close by a few local shop
so before the shoot we will get food together as a snack. Also, we could

make sure we have eaten before we start doing the fashion shoot so then we
would be able to get the shoot done quicker.
Doing the photoshoot outside means that there wont be very close
Toilets accessibility to toilets. However, before we go out to do the shoot we will go
to the toilet so it reduces the risk of needing to go to the toilet.
Me and the model will both our mobile phones so people can access use
while the shoot is taking place. This also means that if anything bad happens

it is easy for us to contact people to come and help us. However, as the shoot
will be outside there could possibly be a problem with the signal.

For this photoshoot the photos will have to be taken during the day so there
is enough natural lighting around so that the model can still be seen on the
picture. Also, as the theme is festival it makes more sense to use a bright
time of the day to show the positivity which is portrayed at festivals.
For this photoshoot I will tell the Hamilton Davis Trust as they are the
company who owns most the land in the local rea and they will be the
people who will give us permission. Also, I will get in touch with the police
and ambulance service just in case anything wrong was going to happen .

The location is around 2 acres of land.

Describe any restrictions/hazards in the immediate vicinity:

The restrictions what could be caused in the general public who will be using the same area for
things such as; football or walking their dogs.

Where will the crew work on this location?

On the location as it is a big field with a path way the crew will be mostly on the grass. If the crew
was on the path way means they will be in the way of other people who use this area.

Where will the cast work on this location?

The cast will be working on the field also so theyre out of the way of the general public. As the field
is so big means the cast and crew will be out of the way.

TOP 3 RISKS IDENTIFIED ON LOCATION

(N.B. this does not replace the Risk Assessment form which must be carried out for any practical project)
1.) As this area can be used by anyone the general public could be a risk as they could either;
walk into any equipment, steal equipment, get in the way of the shot. We will plan to do the
shoot when the field will be less likely to be getting used.

2.) As the field is used for walking dogs they could become an issue if they bump into the
equipment and damage it or if they keep getting distracted by the crew and cast.

3.) As the shoot will be done outside means that the weather could be an issue. If it is raining
means that we cant do the shoot as then it could ruin the equipment and the outfits which
the model will be wearing.

This is a small section of the field which will be
used for the shoot as its the nicest patch of
grass and isnt in the way of any football games.

As the field isnt flat we will have to make sure

that we wear shoes which are suitable so then
no one can get hurt. Also, taking the photos
here means we have enough space to move
the model around without getting the path way.
