including: 1. One-octave ascending and descending C, G, D, A, and E major scales, a
chromatic scale 3. D, D7, Dm, A, A7, Am, E, E7, G, G7, B, B7, C, C7, and F chords.
HGI.11 The student will read and interpret standard music notation and tablature
while performing music of varying styles and levels of difficulty
HGI.16 The student will sight-read music of varying styles and levels of difficulty.

Prior Knowledge:
C to C chromatic scale, C and G major scales, 3 parts of My Country tis of Thee
arrangement.

Objectives/Goals:
Student will be able to perform and notate one octave D major scale, and be able to
perform and visually identify D, D7, Dm, Am, E, E7, Em, G, G7, C, and F chords.

Accommodations:
Adapted guitar and chords for student with challenges with fine motor skills; student
will only play 1st part of My Country tis of Thee Arrangement.
