Methodology

Experiment A: Effect of Hot Water Stream

The General start-up procedure and the valves arrangements has been setup.

The hot tank was set into temperature at 500C then the pumps of (P1 and P2) and air cooler was switch on .

The air trap in shell side had been released by opening valve HV14.

The valve HV5 had been adjusted to obtain the desired flow rate for hot water and the flowrate HV 15 of
cold water stream was setup on fix value.

The system had been allowed to reach at steady state.

The data was recorded.

The steps had been repeated by using 4 different hot water flowrate.
