The prime method of wire identification is by using the control module, steering wheel controls,
terminal pin numbers (moulded into each component or diesel injection pump emmision filter
connector and shown in the diagrams) together with the F9 15A LH dipped beam F 17 10A RH brake light,
number code printed on each wire. To relate each diagram F 10 15A RH dipped beam high level brake light
to the vehicle wiring, locate the relevant component or F 11 10A RH main beam F 18 10A Diagnostic connector,
connector illustrated and find the wire(s) connected to the F 12 10A LH main beam steering wheel controls,
terminal pin(s) as shown in the diagram. F 13 15A Horn brake switches, clutch switch,
F 14 10A Wash/wipe coolant level switch
Caution: While a number (indicating the function of that wire) F 15 30A Engine control module, F 19 30A PARC shunt
may be printed on each wire, this is not always the case, and
in such instances, this is reflected by the absence of such EGR valve, F 20 - Not used
wire numbering on our diagrams. Similarly, numbering of the fuel injectors, diesel F 21 - Not used
connector/component terminal pins is not always available pressure regulator, F 22 10A LH side lights, licence plate light
from the manufacturers' source information and may also be air flow sensor, fuel heater, F 23 15A Alarm
missing from our diagrams. In these cases, it may be pre-heat control module F 24 15A Radio, instrument module,
necessary to refer to your local dealer for further information. F 16 40A Engine air pump parking aid, air conditioning,
(automatic transmission) multi-function display
Note that the conventional method of using colour coding F 17 30A Windscreen wiper F 25 - Not used
does not apply whilst the wires on the vehicle will be F 18 40A Air conditioning F 26 30A Heated rear window
coloured, the wire colour has no relevance. Accordingly,
the wires on our diagrams all appear in black.
