1. Applicable scope
AALRT
The operation standard on AALRT passenger transport and selling tickets process for crew on the train
is been stipulated by this standard.

2. Reference standard

The following standards include provisions, which, through reference in this standard, constitute
provisions of this standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are
subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to discuss the
possibility of applying the latest editions of the standards indicated below.

oclock to 24:00 oclock (including time of attendance & off-duty and fare counting), and morning shift is
from 6:00 oclock to 16:00 oclock (including time of attendance & off-duty and revenue accounting); the
specific work time calculation is subject to the time of attendance & off-duty.

4.1.2 Content of shifting of duty

1) Condition of ticketing equipment, passenger service and intercom equipment;

4.2 Document and account management system
4.2.1
4.2.1 Document management
1)

1) Principle: Crew leader (selected from crew on the train) on duty should be responsible for documents
handling, which is daily issued by the center and division, and should be attached with check list with all
the personnels signature, and the handled document should be submitted to dedicated person for
uniform filing.

2) The Attendance & off-duty Office for crew on the train should be arranged with circulation folder,
folders to be filed, folders to be handled and folders to be submitted.

a) Circulation folder: for placement of circulation documents;

Monday night;

4.2.2 Account management

1) The account management shall be in the charge of dedicated person assigned by division;

b) The used account should be packed base on type, with centralized placement (the specific location
is decided by the division based on actual condition).

1) All the effective text should be stored in the divisional document cabinet and station attendance & off-
duty office document cabinet;

2) Upon receiving the updated text, it is needed to timely submit the overdue and substituted text;

3) The divisional managers approval is required prior to borrowing the divisional text, the specialized
cabinet for text should be arranged with one Text and account receiving/borrowing registration list, and
registration should be recorded for receiving/borrowing;

5 Safety matters
5.1
5.1 Safety management
5.1.1
5.1.1 Regular safety meeting organized by crew team
1)
1) Regular safety production meeting should be monthly organized by crew leader through gathering
employees.

2) The meeting should summarize the safety production condition in this month, notify the safety
incidents which have occurred, learn safety production meeting spirit and safety production task index
issued by superior, and make safety production work arrangement for next month.

5.1.2 Ticketing safety inspection and handling

1) Crew leader on duty should take irregular safety patrol inspection on the workplace of crew on the
train, timely record the problems found, and then report to relevant department to handle.

handle the problems found by daily patrol, and record and shift exchange should be performed for the
ones, which cant be timely handled.

6. Workflow and standards

Crew on the train refers to staffs selling ticket in box offices, and responsible for selling tickets,
providing enquiry, etc.

6.1 Workflow of crew on the train

6.1.1 Before working (attendance), go to the attendance & off-duty office to find crew on the train leader
on duty to sign in, report the number of tickets in their hand, and learn about work precaution and the
content of relevant important notice.

6.1.2 During working, to sell tickets and provide enquiry service;

6.1.3 Before come off work (off-duty), count fare and check the residual paper ticket with revenue
accountant, after completing paper ticket, sign on Statement of Ticket Seller with revenue accountant;

6.1.4 According to the regulation, after completion, go to the attendance & off-duty office to find leader
(off-duty) for signing in and then leave off.
6.2
6.2 Operation standard for crew on the train
6.2.1
6.2.1 Preparation works prior to work
a)
a) Grooming standard

The hair shall be neatly trimmed and bizarre hairstyle.

For women, short hair shall keep styling, and long hair shall be tied up to a ponytail.

For man, they shall be free of long hair, shaved head (balding man excluded) and beard;

Keep hands clean and nails neatly without long nails and dark or fluorescent nail polish;

For women, only light make-up, less or conservative accessories wearing can be acceptable.

b) Dressing code:

Wear uniform as per stipulation;

Tie the tie (collar flower) and wear badges.

Keep buttons in order, clothes clean and tidy, and shirt tails inserted into trousers and without
exposure.

During work time, slippers and high-heeled shoes are not allowed.

c) Prepare sufficient ticket receipt, changes and a ball-point pen as per stipulation, before attendance,

crew on the train should prepare sufficient ticket receipt and changes, if theres no available change, the
crew on the train should advance the fare on his own.

d) The crew on the train should find the leader on duty to sign in 30 minutes before work, signing for
others, late signing, advanced signing and miss signing are not allowed, the case of causing departure
delay should be recorded as lateness.

e) When check in, report the amount of tickets in hand, if residual tickets are not enough, leaders
should push crew on the train to go to revenue accounting room to complete tickets.
6.2.3

a) Before selling tickets to passnegers, crew on the train should ask destination first.

transfer station and tell passngers

please keep the ticket properly in case of ticket inspection.

7.1
7.1 Ticketing regulation
7.1.1

7.1.1 For the new crew on the train, it is needed to go to ticketing division of Commercial Department to
handle tickets and petty cash reception procedure prior to working formally. The required ticket should
be issued in accordance with the highest amount of daily two-shift of this line, and the petty cash for
change should be temporarily set as 1,000 birrs. After working, daily revenue fare should be used for
exchanging equal-amount ticket for the next day. After the dimission of crew on the train, his turnover
ticket and petty cash should be submitted with a full refund, for the shortage parts, which is failed in full
refund, should be deemed to be unpaid revenue ticket of sold product, repay in the form of cash. If crew
on the train leaves for more than three days (including the third day), it is needed to submit the fare to
revenue accounting staff for safekeeping.
7.1.2

7.1.2 Crew on the train should confirm the ticket carried is correct, and prepare complete and sufficient
ticket type and changes in accordance with the line stipulation for inspection at any time. When
working, the money crew on the train bringing should be separately stored to prevent confusion of fare.
7.1.3 AALRT

7.1.3 Crew on the train should sell ticket as per the price list (including package ticket) specified by
AALRT without charging more or less. Timely sell the ticket, give change and tear off ticket should be
completed at the same time. When selling ticket, it is needed to receive and pay in soft voice (including
ticket selling by POS machine), remind passenger of ticket reserving in case of ticket inspection.
7.1.3
7.1.3 Private ticket lending should be not allowed between crew on the train.
7.1.4
7.1.4 Crew leader on duty and ticketing inspector should take regular spot check on if there is any
violation of ticketing management stipulation.
7.1.5
7.1.5 For the tickets in big bills that are sold out and the tickets cannot be delivered in time, the ticket sellers
can replace with the equal value tickets with small bills.
7.1.6
7.1.6 Once receiving the notice of stop operation or stop opertion in one section, the ticket sellers should
stop selling all line or for one section till getting the restoring notice.
7.2
7.2 Payment and recycling of fare
7.2.1
7.2.1 The crew on the train should submit daily revenue fare and complete tickets for next shift.

7.2.2 The petty cash reserved by crew on the train should be 1,000-birr changes with small face value
to facilitate changing during ticket selling.

7.2.3

7.2.3 During working, if any ticket or fare robbery case happens, the crew on the train should get ticket
reception again subject to the amount established by police accreditation and in accordance with ticket
number record verification on that day. After police solving the criminal case, the recovered ticket and
fare should be in the possession of AALRT.
7.3
7.3 The following actions belong to serious violation of the provisions regarding the administration of
ticketing:
7.3.1
7.3.1 Receive money without timely giving ticket;
7.3.2
7.3.2 Receive money without giving equal-amount ticket;
7.3.3
7.3.3 Tear one ticket into two parts to sell;
7.3.3
7.3.3 Resell overdue ticket;
7.3.4
7.3.4 Sell forged and altered ticket and other invalided ticket/card;
7.3.5
7.3.5 Other actions of pocketing fare.
7.4
7.4 Accountability
7.4.1 AALRT

7.4.1 If the crew on the train leaves his post of AALRT without going through formalities and returning
ticket and petty cash, it is needed to deduct the equal-amount of revenue fare and petty cash of ticket
receiving from his salary issued, and terminate the labor contract.
7.4.2 ( 15 AALRT

7.4.2 If the crew on the train escapes with fare and petty cash (including but not limited to absence
without return over 15 days), AALRT should have the right to deduct the equal-amount of revenue fare
and petty cash of ticket receiving from his salary to be issued, for the insufficient parts, AALRT should
reserve the right of recourse, meanwhile, terminate the labor contract, and report to police station for
criminal responsibility investigation.
7.4.3 7.3
7.4.3 If any actions of aforesaid 7.3 violation of ticketing management stipulation are found, it is needed
to terminate labor contract. For severe circumstance, it is needed to hand over to judicial organs for
handling.
