Reading List for Regional Economics

The reading list for each topic consists of papers that are relevant to the
material we will cover in lectures. Please do not think that you have to
read all of them. The list is a guide to your reading on each of the topics.
As such, you can read as many or as few as you wish.

Many of the papers will be technical in nature, with various econometric


techniques and results. Please do not worry if you don't understand
everything that you read, particularly the econometric bits. Reading the
introduction, discussion and conclusions (and leaving out the technical
parts) will still be helpful.
