John as a handwriting expert

John was a very talented writer. He told his friends that he could tell
anybodys character exactly by his handwriting.

One day, a woman brought him an exercise book. She asked John to
speak about the boys character.

John looked the handwriting carefully.

All right, said John. I tell you the truth. The boy is bad, lazy.

It is very strange. This page is from your exercise book, when you
learned at school. said the woman smiling.

The Dumb Beggar

A beggar decided to pretend himself to be dumb. He came in the town

where he had begged before.

A man who had given him money, recognized and spoke to him:

Hello, how long have you been dumb?

Ever since I was a baby, answered the beggar.
