Contingency Plans
If my model is unable to appear in my photoshoot I will replace
him with my back up model Jack Smith. If I am unable to get
the camera equipment I need I will use my own equipment GO
pro camera. I will also ask for spare batteries in case I am
unable to charge the camera at my filming location. If Im
unable to get to a filming location, then I will find a backup
location that fits the criteria. The backup location I will use will
be the blue screen in P1.19 in Priestley College.
Legal
Copyright Law-Copyright law is a legal right created by the
law of a country that grants the creator of an original work
exclusive rights for its use and distribution. This is usually only
for a limited time. The exclusive rights are not absolute but
limited by limitations and exceptions to copyright law, including
fair use.
I will avoid using Copyright material in my pictures as it would
be illegal to take someones work and claim it as my own.
Trespass Law-Trespass is defined by the act of knowingly
entering another persons property without permission. Such
action is held to infringe upon a property owners legal right to
enjoy benefits of ownership.
I will avoid Trespassing when taking my photoshoots by asking
permission for the shooting in each location.
Intellectual Property Law-Intellectual property refers to
creations of the mind: inventions; literacy and artistic works;
and symbols, names and images used in commerce.
Intellectual property I s divided into two categories: Industrial
property includes patents for inventions, trademarks, industrial
designs and geographical indications.
I will ensure that my ideas are my own Intellectual Property by
researching my ideas online to ensure there are no similar
products.
Obscenity Law-Obscenity is a legal term that applies to
anything offensive to morals and is often equated with the term
pornography. Obscenities include: Violent Imagers; Sexual
Imagery; Drugs; Bad language and Sex and Nudity.
I will avoid using any Obscene images in my work like the
depiction of any rude actions or hand gestures as this may
offend people. I will also avoid rude or offensive clothing.
Ethical
To avoid offending anybody in my work I will not discriminate by
race, gender, ability or sexuality. I will ensure that nothing in
my work could be deemed as offensive as I will not aim to
single out or shame individuals with my work. Everyone will
have an equal opportunity. I will not ask anyone to do work they
are uncomfortable with. I will ask permission for the photo to be
taken and used and will not use it if they dont want me to.
