Dear Sir/ Madam,

REQUEST TO CHANGE EXAM STATUS FROM RETAKE TO RESIT

I am currently enrolled in your school taking Diploma in Electrical and Electronic

Engineering in third semester. During my first semester I had an accident on August
2015 and gone through an operation. I was ward in hospital and I did not take all the
final exams for the first semester. The operation took place on my right arm. I had
muscles and nerves cut. Thus, it took me around 4-5 months to be able writing
efficiently again.
Module: English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

When I got back to APU, I went to administrative office to find the dates of the final
exam for me to fill in the online EC deferment but the staff said that they cannot help
me with it and I am supposed to ask my friends or seek from lecturers. Since I cannot
find all the exact dates, I went back to the office a few weeks after and asked another
staff. She jotted down the dates.
After all, I have submitted online EC deferment, however, English for Academic
Purpose Module has been rejected because of incorrect date included by the
administrative staff. Since now, administrative office try to acknowledge the exact
date for my past EAP exam date. One of the staff already emailed twice to my EAP
lecturer who is Madam Anuratha Kannah to seek for the exam date but she did not
reply. I was told she is now under confinement.

It is really time consuming because of the missing date for my past exam date. Still
the time being, there is no solution. It will be a problem to me if I have to retake this
module as I cannot continue to Diploma Part 2 and it will be a waste of time.

I am hoping that this will merit your preferential attention. Thank you.
