I. General Information
R/3 add-on installations can only be installed to certain R/3 Releases. Thus, SAP CORE CEE add-on,
can only be used on R/3 Releases listed in section II/1.
SAP CORE CEE is official name of the product delivered by the add-on, C-CEE is its technical name,
stored as item in AVERS table, displayed in SAINT transaction.
Before the installation of the add-on, take into account the following restrictions concerning
upgrade and maintenance of your R/3 System which result from the installation of an add-on.
It is not possible to deinstall an R/3 Add-on.
In systems in which an R/3 add-on is installed only upgrades to R/3 Releases that are supported for
this add-on can be carried out. You find an overview of the upgrades supported for SAP CORE CEE in
section IV/1.
Bear in mind that there is a delay between the delivery of the R/3 standard release and the release
of the corresponding add-on releases.
If an add-on upgrade is integrated with an R/3 Core release switch, it is integrated into the R/3
Core upgrade (Repository Switch). In addition to the R/3 standard upgrade CDs, an additional add-on
upgrade CD/package is needed to execute this upgrade. If the standard R/3 System upgrade is carried
out without this additional CD/package, the add-on is no longer functional after the upgrade. The
entire R/3 System is inconsistent. For more information on this problem, read Note 33040.
The SAP CORE CEE add-on is shipped with the core product starting with following versions:
-SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1511 (S4CORE 100)
-SAP S/4HANA Finance, on-premise edition 1602 (SAP_FIN 730)
-SAP enhancement package 8 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_FIN 618, SAP_APPL 618)

The SAP CORE CEE add-on is Unicode compatible as of version 101_470 support pack level 03 (package
SAPK-10104INCCEE).
Delivery channels:
l (RS): Restricted Shipment - Installation/Upgrade packages are available for download on SAP
Service Marketplace "service.sap.com/swdc" under SAP Installations and Upgrades, Application
Group Country specific Add-Ons, SAP CORE CEE. The download is available on request. Only
released customers get the access to download the software. Customers interested in the download
should apply for the authorization by Customer message sent to component XX-CSC-HR-FI. In the
Customer message following information should be provided:
o particular countries that are planned for implementation
o user IDs (S....) that should obtain the access Released customer will get access to all
current and further SAP CORE CEE deliveries without additional requests.
l (SR): Software Requests - Installation/Upgrade CDs are obsolete and that is why not available on
SAP Service Marketplace any more.
l (DL): Download - SAP CORE CEE 101_470 add-on upgrade package is obsolete and that is why not
available on SAP Service Marketplace any more.

Combination with ERP Enhance Packages (EhPs)

A combination of C-CEE add-on with ERP Enhance Packages is not automatically released
for any SAP_APPL specific instance of the ERP Enhance Package. It means that:
l If C-CEE add-on have already been installed then the SAP_APPL sw component can be upgraded only
to those EhP versions (e.g. SAP_APPL 602,..) for which a corresponding C-CEE add-on version have
already been released (see the table below)
l C-CEE add-on can be installed to a system where an EhP specific version of SAP_APPL component
has already been applied only if the combination is allowed by the table below.

* Minimal SP level is specified specially when an existing add-on version is release for additional
version of the underlying sw. component. In that case import conditions of the add-on packages are
updated accordingly via ACP package which is shipped with a specific add-on SP.
Concerning ERP 6.0 EhP 6 ON HANA:
HANA db specific optimizations of C-CEE 110_604 add-on are shipped with SP 19 (SAPK-
60419INCCEE). The corrections are included in following SAP notes: 1826990, 1827336,
1827338, 1827984, 1829978, 1836479, 1839484, 1839487, 1839491, 1839564, 1840178, 1842401

Add-on corrections are displayed for the R/3 Core in accordance with the Support Packages via
online patches in the Online Correction Support (OCS) as of R/3 Release 4.0B. Detailed
