of Water Resources Engineering courses). Then, this lab provides some facilities
for research with relevant partners together. This lab aims to apply the knowledge
gained by the students in some courses such as River Morphology, Sediment Trans-

Dr. Eng. Andre Primantyo Hendrawan, ST., MT.

Head of Soil and Ground Water Laboratory

Laboratory of soil and groundwater has research competence on the quality and
testing of physical and mechanical properties of the ground because we know that
the ground is very important for society and the environment in this country. This
lab is used to support student practicum, student research and community service
which is we receive a service charge for the determination of water quality analysis,
sediment analysis, and geoelectric analysis for groundwater exploration.

supported by the faculty and department.
Therefore, the students of water resources
engineering has been participating innu-

Studying in Water Resources Engineering in Universitas Brawijaya can be said as the
cheaper one than other departments in the Faculty of Engineering. By the latest pay-
ment system called Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) or Tuition Fee which is applied in
the Universitas Brawijaya, it certainly can save your money when beginning to enter
this course. Here, the nominal UKT Water Resources Engineering of the Universitas
Brawijaya:
Tuition Fee / Uang Kuliah Tunggal
Category I Rp 500.000 Category IV Rp 3.900.000
Category II Rp 1.000.000 Category V Rp 5.200.000
Category III Rp 3.250.000 Category VI Rp 6.500.000

With these stated nominals, we can enjoy study for a semester without paying additi-
onal fees for college again. In addition, various facilities are also available, such as the
use of six labs located in water resources engineering. Also, it is taught by instructor
who have masters and doctoral degree which means they certainly have high capabi-
lity. Then, it is equipped with a library to lend books to support learning purposes.
