IEEE WIE KGP Conference Support

Guidelines
The IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group of Kharagpur Section is happy to
announce financial assistance towards presentation of papers at national or
international conferences for female IEEE WIE members of Kharagpur Section.
Currently, the conference support will cover partial assistance only towards
registration of the conference on a reimbursement basis.
Applications should be submitted at least one month prior to the start of the
conference. Paper can be in oral or poster modes, but should lead to publication.
Sanction of grant depends on fund availability. Interested applicants must carefully
review the eligibility and guidelines below, and fill the application template below.

Eligibility
The applicant should be
Female
Full-time Student
First author of the paper
Current member of IEEE and Women in Engineering
Should not have availed financial support for attending conference from IEEE
Kharagpur Section, Student Branch of IIT Kharagpur or WIE KGP in the past two
years
Members of office-bearing WIE Kharagpur Executive Committee are not eligible for
this grant.

Support
Financial assistance up to Rs. 2,500/- towards registration at a conference will be
provided to successful candidates on reimbursement basis. A maximum of three such
grants may be awarded per year.

Application Procedure
Please create a single PDF of all the above documents placed in that order, and
email to ieeewiekgp@gmail.com. Incomplete applications with missing information
or incomplete documents shall not be entertained. Ensure the receipt of your
application by receiving an acknowledgement mail within three days of submission.
Results will be declared two weeks prior to the conference. Successful applicants shall
be notified through email.
