About the FDP
This Faculty Development Program will provide a basic introduction to the participants on various facets of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). They will explore the core concepts in IKS and learn to understand, appreciate the traditional knowledge enshrined in the vast corpus of India’s civilization in different fields of human activity. After this course, they will be equipped to immerse in a deeper discovery and self-exploration of IKS and its integration with modern day social science research and teaching. This FDP will enable participants to devise their own subject specific modules on IKS and transact with their students about India’s rich culture, heritage and history.
