Objectives of the Seminar
 To explore and disseminate Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) embedded in the curriculum of different subjects and its
ramification in the global curriculum development.
 To provide a platform to gain knowledge from national and international multidisciplinary resource persons on IKS.
 To improve the standard of the global community of educational researchers, scholars, and practitioners of LIS and Allied
Subjects (LISAD), by introducing cutting-edge trends, developments, and challenges in the education field while addressing
the theme.

About NSOU and LIS Department


Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU), the premier State Open University in India is NAAC accredited “A” (2021). The
University started functioning with effect from July 1998 Semester, only with the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Arts &
Commerce to provide an opportunity of higher education in the vernacular medium to various disadvantaged groups of aspiring
learners. NSOU moves towards the improvement of the quality of open distance education and is also imparting Ph.D. programmes
in regular mode approved by the UGC Dedicated mission of university is to propagate equitable quality education in flexible mode
all over the State and to provide access to different skills-enhancing educational programs to provide facility of Lifelon g

About RRRLF:
RRRLF is a central autonomous organization established and fully financed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India to
support public library development in India. It is nodal agency of the each State at the instance of the Foundation. To particip ate
in Foundation's programmes, a State Government/U.T. is required to contribute a certain amount fixed by the Foundation.

Procedure: The abstract and research paper(s) shall be sent as attachments (.doc/.docx and also .pdf) to
ikslisad2023@gmail.com along with following details:
Subject of Email : IKS-LISAD: 2023: Abbreviation (Name, Middle Name & TITLE – University, & Submission date).
Eg. (IKS-LISAD: 2023:AKC-NSOU:15-02-2023)
1. Name, 2. Affiliation with address 3. Address for correspondence, 4. Phone number (with WhatsApp number), 5. E-
mail, and 6. Title of the paper, etc.

Paper Submission Guidelines


Authors should submit their original unpublished work in WORD and PDF format both to “IKS-LISAD:2023”via e-
mail ikslisad2023@gmail.com
Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferen ces/journ als) are not allowed .

» The decision regarding the acceptan ce of paper is at the discretion of Technical Program Committee.
Submission Format
Authors can submit their Paper through email ID :ikslisad2023@gmail.com
All abstracts will be peer reviewed and evaluated before final acceptan ce.
 Author(s) of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit and present their paper(s) in the seminar{abstract limit within
500 words}
 Only registered participant’s “Abstract” will be included in the Abstract volume.
 Final submission of paper(s) based on comments/ suggestions incorporated in the final paper. The length of the final
submission should be limited to 3000 words, excluding footnotes or endnotes etc..
 Only selected and presented paper(s) in the seminar would be considered for final publication on the basis ofblind
review will be published in an edited volume(s) with ISBN number separately after the seminar.
 The abstract and the final submission must be typed in Times New Roman, with font size 12 and 1.5 -line spacing.
 The APA style of citation (latest edition) must be strictly adhered to while submitting the abstract and the final
submission.
