I hope you already got a printout of Complete TOPIK Vocabulary List Beginner Level (
). Here I am presenting a list of TOPIK grammar patterns taken from the 2011 research paper by Angela
Lee-Smith and Danielle Ooyoung Pyun An analysis of theTest of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) focusing
on beginning-level vocabulary and grammar items. This is a wonderful research paper and I think that the TOPIK
Grammar list that it presents is a must have for all TOPIK beginner level aspirants. Please note the list covers
only Grammar-Vocabulary (-) section of TOPIK and not all the four sections.

This study investigated the structure and content of the beginning-level TOPIK by analyzing vocabulary
and grammar items in previous TOPIK tests. A total of 17 TOPIK tests administered during 2003 to 2010 were
collected for analysis. The analysis revealed that the beginning-level TOPIK follows a highly structured format and
its vocabulary questions are presented within contextualized, meaningful sentences or discourse. The results
also showed that the TOPIK involves approximately 700 vocabulary items and approximately 100 grammar items
deemed necessary for beginner-level proficiency.

I have already posted the vocabulary list in the article Complete TOPIK Vocabulary List Beginner Level (
). In this article I am presenting the TOPIK Grammar list. So below there is a
comprehensive list of approx. 100 grammar patterns that you must learn in order to get a good score in TOPIK. I
am just giving the Korean grammar patterns here and not their explanations. You will have to find them yourself. I
will try to make another list with all the explanations very soon. But It would be great if after finding all the
explanations someone of you could send the list to TOPIK GUIDE. I will post it as a new article (with your name
and photograph if you want) and that can be really useful for people in future. I will remind you again that this list
covers only Grammar-Vocabulary (-) section of TOPIK and not all the four sections.
