To
Whom
It
May
Concern:
Hello,
my
name
is
CeCelia
Gorder
and
I
am
in
my
last
semester
at
South
Dakota
State
University.
My
degree
is
Early
Childhood
Education
with
a
certification
from
Dakota
State
University
in
Elementary
Education.
I
grew
up
in
Estelline,
SD
where
my
passion
for
teaching
started.
My
4th
grade
teacher
inspired
me
to
become
a
teacher
just
like
her
because
of
her
caring
personality.
Her
main
focus
was
teaching
individuals
to
care
for
other
people
and
to
build
tools
to
live
in
the
real
world.
She
showed
me
what
it
takes
to
be
a
great
teacher
and
how
to
show
my
students
compassion
through
my
teaching.
As
I
mentioned
above,
I
am
a
senior
at
SDSU;
therefore,
I
have
had
several
practicum
classroom
hours
at
various
locations
in
Brookings,
SD.
I
was
a
student
teacher
at
the
Fishback
Center
on
the
SDSU
campus.
I
had
many
hours
of
experience
working
with
three
and
four
year
olds.
I
also
had
experience
at
all
three
of
the
elementary
schools
in
Brookings.
I
have
been
in
classrooms
ranging
from
preschool
to
5th
grade.
I
am
energetic,
motivated,
organized,
flexible,
and
team-oriented.
My
goal
is
for
children
to
believe
they
can
do
anything
they
set
their
mind
to.
I
want
to
achieve
this
goal
by
developing
a
relationship
with
all
children
in
my
classroom
and
focusing
on
their
needs
through
their
education
in
your
school
district.
I
would
like
to
thank
you
for
considering
me
as
a
teacher
candidate
for
your
school
district.
After
all
of
my
college
courses
and
field
experience,
I
could
not
be
more
excited
to
have
my
own
classroom
to
help
prepare
our
future
leaders.
I
look
forward
to
developing
my
teaching
abilities
in
your
school
district
and
continuing
my
education
to
become
the
best
possible
teacher
for
my
future
students.
Please
contact
me
using
the
information
above.
I
hope
to
be
hearing
from
you
soon.
Again,
thank
you
for
your
time.
Sincerely,
CeCelia
Gorder
