Catalogue description: Thermodynamic cycle analysis of gas exchange, compression, ex-


pansion and combustion processes with dissociation. Mechanism of combustion. Fuel and
additive characteristics. Real cycles. Performance characteristics. Brief analysis of the fuel
metering and ignition systems, exhaust emissions and control systems, heat transfer, friction
and lubrication systems.
